What is Microdentistry?

MicroDentistry is the discipline of using the high magnification available with the dental operating microscope (4X-22X) to provide extremely accurate and conservative dental restorations. Due to the accuracy and minimally invasive techniques the restorations will last longer and look better! Less than 2% of general dentists nationwide practice microdentistry with the dental operating microscope. Dr. DeWeirdt is partnered with Carl Zeiss, the world's preeminent lens manufacturer, utilizing Zeiss OPMI pico and Extaro 300 microscopes, the most advanced dental microscopes in the world.
